Bad Diaries Salon returns to Melbourne for the first time since 2019. One night, one not-to-be-repeated show, six writers reading from their diaries on the salon theme, NOTES.
An outstanding lineup of fearless writers will hit the Cabaret Stage at The Motley Bauhaus in Carlton on Thursday 18 May for BAD DIARIES SALON. Pirooz Jafari, Janine Mikosza, Angela Savage, Sarah Schmidt, Justine Sless and salon co-curator and creator Jenny Ackland will read from their unpublished diaries and notebooks. The salon will be hosted by series co-curator Tracy Farr.

Each Bad Diaries Salon is a unique combination of readers and theme, a performance that’s original and unscripted, candid and unedited, raw, possibly raucous, a little bit poignant, and more than likely very funny.
